Scott Owens

As President, Scott directs the firm's advocacy operations. He joined LNE Group in 2005 and works at the state and federal level and across party lines, with relationships in the Governor's Office, the General Assembly, JobsOhio, Congress, and the White House.
His work has produced more than $250 million in economic development incentives for clients, more than $25 million in funding from the Ohio Capital Bill, and passage of the county land bank bill (SB 353) for Cuyahoga County, which the General Assembly passed and the governor signed in five weeks.
He helped a municipality obtain the federal license and permits for a 105-megawatt, $685 million hydro-electric facility on the Ohio River, and is currently representing an international partnership on a $12 billion chemical project in Ohio. Before LNE Group he worked in government relations in telecommunications and banking, ran a political organization, and managed campaigns.
